St John SA Community Care delivers a service to our most vulnerable. We have flexible volunteer roles starting from just 2 – 3 hrs or for those looking to complete their mutual obligation, we can assist with that as well. You will make a difference, helping your client to remain independent and connected to their community. You will make a friend and change a life!

We require volunteers with a valid South Australian driver licence and registered motor vehicle to accompany clients on outings and activities of their choosing. Volunteers unable to drive but happy to use public transport can join our Community Visits at local nursing homes or retirement villages. You will help clients remain independent, improve wellbeing and social connections and support them to continue to be active contributors to their community. You may be surprised with what helping others actually gives to you.
