The card/board games companion volunteer will collaborate with the Leisure and Lifestyle Team to assist in the delivery of small group games to maintain and enhance the cognitive, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents based on their individual needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds.

Duties include:

• Assist in the set up/pack up and preparation of games under the direction of the leisure and lifestyle team

• Provide simple instructions to the group

• Provide appropriate support and guidance to residents during activities to support them to participate to their full potential

• Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents as required
