Operation Sunshine WA is a 100% volunteer run Perth based charity supporting women, children, young people, and families impacted by violence and abuse or crisis across Western Australia. We provide practical support to people displaced by family and domestic violence, entering out of home care, or at risk of/experiencing homelessness through our various initiatives.

We are looking for a creative individual with attention to detail to join our committee and help us raise much needed funds by identifying and pursuing grant and sponsorship opportunities.

Key aspects we envisage for the role include: • Identifying grant and sponsorship opportunities • Assessing and addressing grant eligibility requirements and deadlines • Preparing accurate and engaging applications to address selection criteria • Following up on grant and sponsorship applications • Completion of acquittal processes as required. • Participation in 6 - 8 weekly committee meetings

Grant writing experience would be highly desirable, but this volunteer position would also suit someone with strong writing, editing, and research or marketing experience looking to support a worthwhile cause. You would be supported by the Chairperson and other committee members to obtain relevant documentation in support of applications.
