Our aged care social support groups provide an opportunity for seniors to get out and about in their local community!

Our group-based excursions promote physical activity, cognitive stimulation and emotional wellbeing. Allowing our clients, the opportunity for social interaction and support them to remain living independently.

The role:

Our bus driver, will play a crucial role taking our clients on social support excursions and facilitating their connectivity with the community. genU staff complete all the outing planning and organising. All we need is your time and your willingness to drive our bus!

About you:

  • Confident driver with a clear driving history and current full Australian Car Drivers Licence.
  • Respectful and friendly, to help foster a supportive atmosphere during the journey!

Time Commitment:

Volunteer shifts are 10:00 - 3:00pm and available most business days. Volunteer drivers generally complete 2 shifts per month.

This is a great opportunity to experience the joy of making a meaningful difference and exploring your own community.
