The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Girl Guides Victoria - Boroondara District.

Role responsibilities:

• Provide coordination of activities across the Region
• Work with current and prospective volunteers to ensure they find the right role within the organisation
• Support District Managers to ensure the smooth administration and accountable finances of the Region
• Contribute to statewide coordination and strategic leadership of Girl Guides Victoria

The role is supported by local government area based volunteer District Managers, and reports to the State leadership team. Eastern region stretches from Boroondara to Yarra Ranges.

This role will suit someone who enjoys coordinating activities, identifying the strengths and skills of others, strategic leadership and planning, and wants to support the Girl Guides mission to develop girls and young women into strong leaders in their community. Familiarity with Girl Guides or Scouts, and experience managing volunteers, may assist you to perform the role but not required.
