Mayfield is a community that looks out for each other. We are seeking Volunteer Visitors to connect with individuals in a small Aged Care facility in Mayfield. Are you someone who is patient and can slow down to listen and provide companionship to an older person? Our older people are looking for visitors with particular skills and interests. Perhaps you like to wander in the garden, play scrabble, play the keyboard, listen to classical music, or love to visit the Mayfield Pool?

This is an opportunity to bring some kindness and friendship to older people in your community. Weekly visits at a time that suits both the older person and the visitor. Providing companionship and enjoying each other’s company.

Training provided. There is a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to support you in this role, that can help you feel confident each step of the way.
