You'll be visiting hospitals, nursing homes, health care facilities and individuals, offering conversation and friendship with your own friendly cat.

Volunteers require their own healthy, friendly, calm, well mannered, confident cat of any age, that enjoys meeting strangers away from their home. Cats should be on a worming and flea program (can be homeopathic) and have a current F3 vaccination (or show a recent Titer test).

Cats are required to feel comfortable wearing a body harness with leash attached.

We are seeking volunteers who love their pets, love helping people and have confident, friendly, polite, professional, conversational and communication skills.

We are seeking people whom after our fully comprehensive and professional health and safety training, will have the cognitive ability to accurately risk assess situations and people, and be politely tactful and assertive when necessary.
