Volunteers of Glen Eira is advertising this position on behalf of Inclusion Melbourne.

Inclusion provides opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities to experience personal fulfilment, purpose and authentic social and physical inclusion, to live a good life.

Build a friendship with a lonely, isolated older person through fortnightly visits. Reduce loneliness and isolation and increase social inclusion.

You will be carefully matched and provided with ongoing mentoring and support.

Requirements:

• Able to commit to a fortnightly outing for a minimum of 12 months.

• Reliable, friendly and empathic.

• Flexible, patient.

• NDIS worker check (coordinator will assist)

• 3 x Covid vaccinations

• Current flu vaccination
