The volunteer will:

  • manage team rosters by:
  • making changes to the roster at short notice
  • compiling and coordinating team rosters by the agreed date
  • emailing and /or mailing team rosters as appropriate
  • replacing volunteer staff (e.g. reader or presenter shifts) as necessary and advise relevant staff of any changes
  • reporting any issues or concerns to the Regional Radio Coordinator or Volunteer partnership Coordinator (VPC)
  • informing the Regional Radio Coordinator or Volunteer Partnership Coordinator (VPC) of volunteer resignations, inactive volunteers and long leaves of absence
  • advising the Regional Radio Coordinator or Volunteer Partnership Coordinator (VPC) of new requests for volunteers
  • complete required data recording tasks to accurately record information about your volunteering activities (e.g. sign in and out of all shifts)
  • perform administration tasks and office duties (e.g. data entry and collection, filing, scanning, creation of documents, coordinating rosters) accurately and in a timely manner to ensure operations run smoothly
  • be required to attend meetings that assist with planning and information provision
