Logo for Living Proud LGBTIQ+ Community Services of WA

Events volunteers promote Living Proud within general and LGBTIQ+ communities through information/community stalls and increase capacity through assisting at events, including fundraising events and during PrideFEST in November.

Some events will require volunteers to be LGBTIQ+ peers.

All volunteers must have basic knowledge of LGBTIQ+ communities and hold non-judgmental attitudes towards people of diverse sexuality, sex and gender. More training is available in this area, if required

All Living Proud events volunteers are required to attend an Information Session (2 hours), apply for a police check (paid for by Living Proud) and agree to our Events volunteer code of conduct. Some roles may also require a Working With Children Check. Additional training is available, but not compulsory.
