Our program is designed for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, and have great communication skills. As a reception volunteer, you are the face of WA Wildlife and will be the first point of contact for our visitors. You'll greet them with a smile, answer their questions, and ensure that they feel welcomed. No prior experience is necessary - we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed in this role. Our minimum commitment is just one 3 or 6 hour shift per week, with shifts running between 8am to 8pm.   • Answering all incoming phone calls (15,000 calls per annum) and recording calls in phone log
  • Admitting patients to the WA Wildlife Hospital (6,500 patients per annum) - basic computer skills necessary
  • Processing sales and donations
  • Cleaning the Hospital’s entrance/public viewing spaces
  • Providing advice to members of the public
  • Answering emails and processing booking requests - basic computer skills necessary
  • Data entry - basic computer skills necessary
  • Managing visitor and contractor attendance/sign in
  • Providing clerical support to the veterinary department and triage team
