We are currently seeking Volunteer Warehouse Assistants in our fresh department!

Location: These roles are based at our Yarraville warehouse.

Commitment: Our needs span the whole week - Monday to Friday. Weekly Volunteers are ideal, but we do have scope for flexible options- once a fortnight or monthly.

Shifts available: We are looking for people available on weekdays - Monday through to Friday.

About the Role: Tasks and responsibilities may include: • Sorting, picking and packing fresh produce orders • Pronto scanning • Wrapping and weighing orders

About You: We are looking for a volunteer who: • is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling • able to complete repetitive movements and standing for extended periods of time • is comfortable lifting, bending, twisting and turning • able to lift up to 10kgs • has excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills • is reliable and able to fulfil the commitments of the role • has excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills • is able to work both independently and as part of a team • is comfortable talking to groups in an engaging, respectful, patient and inclusive manner

Requirements: • frequent availability is ideal • must be available for shifts from 8- 2.30pm • able to provide a professional referee
