Mernda Repair Café is the first community Repair Program for the community of Whittlesea hosted at the Mernda Community House and outdoor community space. It is a free, inclusive and cross cultural community event that offers repairs of personal items by volunteer Repairers. Our focus is to bring awareness of a more sustainable lifestyle where we can divert items from landfill in our community. We hope to ignite interest and the sharing of skills in repair and maintenance of items.
