The Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre, based in Brunswick, is currently seeking a volunteer to provide support in delivering monthly excursions and social activities, and weekly Food Relief support to people seeking asylum.

You'll make an impact on participants' well being as part of a one-of-a-kind program that aims to address social isolation and promote community engagement. We are looking for a flexible and proactive volunteer who wants to make a difference in the community and provide support alongside people seeking asylum.

The role will also assist with the planning and administration of each ASWC monthly event. This will include data entry, putting together a flyer, mail outs and inviting members to attend via the phone, which can at times include using a phone interpreter.
