Several different horse based volunteer roles are required, including: Lead walking - leading the horse during the lesson Side walking - walking alongside the horse providing support to the rider Carriage work - assisting with the carriage riding program Stable work - assisting our capable staff with caring for the horses Training will be provided and all volunteers will be required to hold both a Blue card (working with children) and a yellow card (disabilities). Hours to be negotiated between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Fridays and 8:30am to 3pm Saturdays. Specifically at this stage we are looking for volunteers to cover the following hours: Riding Classes: Mon 8.15-12.15, 12.30-3.30, Wed 9.30-1.00, Thu 8.45-12.00, Fri 2.00-5.00, Sat 8.00-12.30 ASDAN Program: Mon 9.30-12.30, Wed 1.00-5.00 Carriage Driving: Wed 1.00-5.00 and Fri 9.30-12.30 & 2.00-5.00
