Ryde Eisteddfod Committee Inc

About Us

City of Ryde Eisteddfod is a community-based, non-profit volunteer organisation established in 1988 by Ryde City Council. Since 1990, a passionate group of volunteers have continued this community initiative to support budding artists in their confidence, excellence, and enjoyment in their chosen field.

Ryde Eisteddfod has grown from a small event of about 200 competitors to its present size involving over 5000 entrants annually. Many of our scholarship winners have gone on to positions in the Australian Opera, International ballet companies and overseas study.

Ryde Eisteddfod gives opportunities in performance and adjudication to singers, instrumentalists, dancers and speech and drama - including one section dedicated to Seniors (50 plus).
