Are you a registered Justice of the Peace looking to help out the community?

The City of West Torrens is currently searching for volunteer JPs to join our bustling JP Service, operating from our dedicated offices in the Hamra Centre Library, Hilton. JPs provide a valuable service to our community and the increased need for this service has seen us seek to appoint more volunteer JPs.

You will need to have current JP registration and be a member of the Royal Association of Justices of South Australia, and you'll need to remain up-to-date with information, guidelines and directives that affect your role as a JP.

#Among the many and varied tasks this role will undertake include:

providing JP services to our community managing walk-in clients to our dedicated JP service in the Hamra Centre Library and other West Torrens' locations (as required) *provide feedback and open communication with our Administration Officer, Library Services regarding any aspect of the JP Service.

#The successful applicant will need to have:

strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills ability to effectively help members of our culturally diverse community, including clients who have English as a second language or speech difficulties *ability to recognise and respond to clients' needs.
