As the Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organisation. Responsibilities include utilizing a Square card reader for transactions at the Garden, maintaining both electronic and hard copy account books, reconciling monthly books and petty cash, providing timely financial reports for Committee meetings, and preparing an annual financial reconciliation for our AGM.

In addition to financial responsibilities, the Treasurer will have the opportunity to contribute to decision-making processes, provide excellent customer service, and collaborate with fellow Committee members to ensure the success of our Community Garden. This is a remote position, with a requirement to attend monthly Committee meetings.
