A CoderDojo operates in accordance with the model set out by the global Coderdojo community.

The Dojo is not a classroom, but a fun and social session where ninjas gain knowledge through self-directed learning and exploring ideas with their peers. Coderdojo aims to provide IT skills to young people, that are becoming increasingly essential in the job market.

As a volunteer, you will provide support, guidance, and encouragement for young people to complete their projects and develop their skill. Volunteering as a CoderDojo Mentor will give you the chance to improve your coding abilities, to help shape the new generation of digital creators, and to add CoderDojo mentoring to your skill-set.
