For almost 146 years the YWCA has been in the business of securing women's rights around the world. We have been here in Perth since 1920 making this our 94th year of providing services to the West Australian community and creating opportunities for women and girls to achieve their full potential. We offer the Encore Program. Encore is an 8 week program designed specifically for women who have experienced breast cancer. Encore incorporates gentle exercise to help restore mobility, flexibility and confidence. Our program assists in boosting self-esteem, self-image and health & well-being. Participation is free and is supported by the State Health Department. We also run the Everygirl program. Every Girl is a strengths-based self esteem program for girls aged 9-14 years from disadvantaged communities.
