Paraburdoo Primary School was established in 1971 as a District High School, catering for up to 350 k-10 Students. It became a dedicated primary school in 2001 and currently caters for approximately 200 to 250 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the heart of the Pilbara. It is the only school in town, with enrolments fluctuating depending on the strength of the mining industry.
