South Western Sydney Local Health District Palliative Care Volunteers aim to be part of the multidisciplinary team within the palliative care service that supports patients and family members to improve the quality of life for people with a life limiting illness, particularly those who are dying. The Service operates in homes, community and in the local health district public hospitals.
