The Ashburton Community Garden is an inclusive, safe and friendly community space set up to promote the growing and sharing of healthy food. It is a sustainable garden with strong environmental focus on organic growing, water recycling and land care. We foster community engagement and create a welcoming environment for all. We use ecological gardening principles, avoiding harmful or synthetic chemicals, conserve water and provide composting facilities. We encourage local biodiversity.
