Rupertswood Football Club

From humble beginnings in 1984, a single U16 football team named "Salesian" was formed, comprised mainly of boarding students from Salesian College. As the Sunbury township grew and player numbers increased, the Rupertswood Football Club was formed. Over time, the club expanded to include Senior Football, Auskick, FIDA and Netball, and is today known as the Rupertswood Football & Netball Club. The club had its most successful season in 2019 with seven Football teams and nine Netball teams across the Club making Grand Finals. Our Senior Netball continued their winning way from previous years and our Senior Football team broke through for their first RDFNL Premiership.? In 2021 'Rupo' embarked on a bold new adventure, when it moved to the Essendon District Football League, playing in Division 1. The Club owes it growth to several key factors; the administration, the coaches, a firm belief in the ethos that the Club is founded on, and the supportive Club members.
