Golden Rose was founded by Faye Hartley-Youens, a passionate advocate for the power of complementary therapies in empowering cancer patients during their treatment journey. Having lost both my mother and best friend to cancer, She has witnessed first hand the positive impact these therapies can have on managing symptoms and improving overall well-being. The mission of Golden Rose Cancer Collective is to connect cancer patients with qualified and certified complementary therapists, offering them access to free or discounted sessions. We envision building a platform where patients can easily find practitioners in their area, browse different modalities, and book appointments directly. This website will also dive into different modalities and give information and insight on how they can support a person living with cancer. The response to our vision has been overwhelmingly positive from volunteer practitioners, established charities, CAM association and the beneficiaries themselves. We are looking for people who align with our mission to join us and take this into reality. We are currently raising funds to create the website and cover our running admin costs.
