We are a grass roots mental health charity that supports financially disadvantaged women and girls impacted by trauma - with a particular focus on survivors of physical and/or sexual abuse, children in out-of-home care and women veterans and first responders and their families. Our mission: Improving mental health through evidence-based, trauma-focused, nature-guided programs and mentorship. We offer a variety of individually tailored evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches including: - equine therapy programs - art therapy programs - trauma-informed somatic movement programs - mindfulness and mediation programs Financial disadvantage should never be a barrier to accessing mental health support and so all programs at the sanctuary are free for those who need them to be.
