Established in 1860, the Preston Cricket Club is one of the oldest community cricket clubs in the City of Darebin and is one of few of clubs to achieve Gold Status for community engagement. We also hold Good Sports Level 3 accreditation for creating a safe, welcoming, family-friendly and culturally diverse environment. The “Bullants” field 4 senior teams in the 32 club Victorian Sub District Cricket Association and have done so since 1922. The VSDCA is the second level of turf cricket competition in Victoria providing a pathway for cricketers into Premier cricket and beyond as well as a high level of competition for players of all ages. Our 1st and 2nd teams play their home games at Preston City Oval, Cramer Street, Preston. The 3rd and 4th teams play their home games at Crispe Park, Gloucester Street, Reservoir. Our playing, practice and social facilities are second to none. In addition to the 4 senior teams, the club runs a junior development program, the Preston Junior Academy, for local boys and girls from under 13 to under 19. The Academy is now in it's 11th year. We also conduct a Woolworths Cricket Blast program each summer for young cricketers aged 5 to 9.
