SunnyKids provides a social and emotional safety net for thousands of Sunshine Coast children and their families through their award-winning “Virtual Village” practice model. Offering up nights of emergency accommodation, educational programs and domestic violence advocacy each and every year to local families in need, SunnyKids partners with health, education and child protection agencies to keep kids safe. SunnyKids provide case management support, referrals, advocacy and temporary accommodation to Women and Children escaping from Domestic and Family Violence Across Australia. We support families in the community who are at disadvantage through our programs in partner schools. Our Vision is to have a Sunshine Coast community in which everyone feels safe, belongs and has the chance to flourish. The overall mission of our charity is to work to ensure that every child, family and individual who needs help can get it.
