City of Casey - Wilson Botanic Gardens

With 39 hectares to be explored, the park has over 1000 different plants species, with both natives and exotics. You can see over 80 different species of birds as well as turtles, frogs, lizards and snakes. Keep this in mind as you enjoy the park. You can use our picnic areas and BBQ facilities to relax with friends, and kids love the playground. You can also explore the wonderful walking tracks around the park. If you are a bird watcher, you can enjoy our Birdhide. It is perched on the edge of the Basalt Lake and provides the perfect cover to see some of our native wildlife.
