Organisation Description: Mission statement: NQAR transitions dogs to forever homes, serves as a community resource and advocates for responsible dog ownership. NQAR is a registered charity based in Cairns and is run entirely by volunteers. We accept dogs in need of re-homing through private surrender and from council pounds throughout north Queensland. All dogs in our care are placed in approved, loving foster homes – we do not have a shelter facility.
