The four core objectives of Care Bags are as follows: 1-Providing clothing and toiletries to children entering care, transient youth and others who cannot afford to buy clothing and toiletries for themselves. 2-The provision of Christmas gifts, stockings and other items to children and at risk youth as deemed appropriate by the management committee. 3-To assist children and at risk youth in the area of harm prevention and those facing necessitous circumstances. 4-The provision of practical support to children in care, at risk or other young people requiring support, through the provision of care packages. We host packing days to pack Care Bags and Transient Teen Toiletry packs, purchase goods and sort gifts at Christmas time and utilise volunteers to collect, pack up and deliver donations.
