Radio Operator
- Emu Point Western Australia
- Category: Emergency Response
- Types of work: Safety & Emergency Services
The Sea Rescue organisation uses radios to contact fishermen who are going out fishing to keep a register of those going out on the water. They also operate two recue vessels for search and rescue purposes. Radios are operated 24 hours per day in three shifts. The night shift allows operators to go to bed with radio turned on with volume turned up.
