The South Hedland Volunteer Fire & Rescue service is part Department of fire & emergency service. The volunteer firefighters cover South Hedland for all fire and rescue services. The fire station is responding to over 200 incidents a year. Our crews travel vast distances responding to emergency in our community. The volunteers not only respond to emergencies in and around Port Hedland, South Hedland. The volunteers conduct training sessions once a week and respond to any emergency they are called to respond to any time of day or night.
