Darwin Chorale is a Darwin based choir which began in 1985. The chorale performs several concerts a year along with a variety of community events, The chorale employs local musicians but also works with other existing local groups such as the Darwin Symphony Orchestra and Arafura Wind Ensemble, The aim of the chorale is to perform excellent choral music, foster new membership, and develop repertoire and expertise. The Darwin Chorale presents concerts and stage shows for the Darwin community. Volunteers can be involved in set construction, set painting, sewing costumes, hairdressing, make-up, front of house, marketing, back stage support.
