Godfrey Street Community House was founded in 1983 and is a community based non-profit organisation with a voluntary Committee of Management. It provides high quality cost effective and inclusive community programs, that will facilitate community engagement for all residents in the community. The House is managed by a salaried manager on a daily basis; the position of Manager is funded by the Department of Health & Human Services.
