Gympie & District Landcare Group (GDLG) is an environmentally oriented community-based organisation that for over 30 years has been serving the community of Gympie and surrounds. Whilst maintaining a community orientation, the organisation is structured on a "profit for purpose" business model where the focus is on strengthening the business to increase our capacity for achieving GDLG's purpose: to inspire environmental regeneration through community engagement. In keeping with it's prpose, GDLG's business model is to focuse on four key streams: - Opeartion a regional native plant nursery; - Offering biological services for environmental and soil regeneration including raising Bio-control insects; - Providing environmental and conservation services for land owners and managers; - Community education and fostering community-based environmental activities.
