Braybrook Community Hub-VW

Following a $12.5 million renovation and extension, the Braybrook Community Hub commenced operation in March 2015. The Hub comprises of a library, community centre and spaces, community health centre, maternal and child health centre, early years centre, sport pavilion; men’s shed, and community gardens. The Hub is owned and operated by the Maribyrnong City Council, with services delivered in partnership with: cohealth including the Australian School of Optometry, One Tree Community Services, and the Braybrook Men’s Shed. The objectives of the Braybrook Community Hub are to: foster an innovative model of integrated service delivery in a place based context. promote equitable access to quality services that support individual and community wellbeing, now and into the future. create a strong sense of community built on diversity of gender, age, culture, socioeconomic status, ability, lifestyle and faith that supports social inclusion and community decision making.
