Second Nature Conservancy are a not-for-profit organisation that work to protect and restore our environment. We work closely with the local community to protect and restore biodiversity and sustainably manage natural resources, so as to create an environment where human activity and natural ecosystems can sustainably co-exist. We work with local community groups, schools and run the Strathalbyn Natural Resource Centre, delivering nature education events for the community. GWLAP also run the Alexandrina Community Nursery, growing native plants for ours and other community groups projects and for sale to the public. Activities are funded by State and Federal Government funding and fee for service works.
