About Disability Assembly Western Australia The Disability Assembly Western Australia (DAWA) has a vision to unify, support and champion a thriving disability ecosystem in Western Australia to ensure world leading and sustainable outcomes for people with disabilities, their families, and carers. A major part of our purpose is to bring together people with disability, families, carers, peak bodies, advocates, providers, and experienced individuals, from a range of backgrounds, professions, and disciplines. Our aim is to generate informed and impartial discussion and debate on the big issues. We seek to engage with diverse perspectives and innovative thinking.
