The Warburton Advancement League (WAL) is a community led not-for-profit organisation that promotes works of improvement around the Warburton District, working with the Shire, other townships and government officials to encourage local trade and attract visitors. It organises events, manages development projects, and works in many other ways to help Warburton and its surrounds thrive. WAL also supports other community organisations in finding volunteers and moving their community projects forward. This includes the Warburton Waterwheel Visitor Information Centre and other smaller groups needing various types of help.
