The Rainbow Beach Community Information and Resource Centre (CIRS) is a non-profit organisation established in 1999 to provide residents with information and access to support services, and material assistance to those who find themselves in financial crisis or other emergency. The registered premises are referred to as the Rainbow Beach Community Centre and are located at 32 Rainbow Beach Rd, Rainbow Beach. The Rainbow Beach Community Centre provides - Community information hub - Public internet access - General office services eg photocopying, printing copying etc. - Hall and office facilities hire - Consultant space for visiting support services The Centre is dependent on the availability of time and skills of volunteers. As such, the role of volunteers, and their significant contribution towards the operation and management of the Centre, is highly appreciated and supplemented by ongoing training regarding the operation of the Centre.
