L2P Drive with Me is a low-cost driving volunteer mentoring program that has been created to help those that experience disadvantaged stages in their life. This program is an opportunity for people to gain their required logbook hours through our vehicles. The mentors that learners would be working with are volunteers that offer up their time & experience to engage with the learner driver and work with them in gaining their confidence in the driver’s seat. Mentors (volunteers) will go through a mentoring program which includes education on how to appropriately use the left-hand brake which is fitted in each of our 4 vehicles. Once the Mentor is ready to go, they will then be assigned a learner driver. The aim is to keep them with the same learner driver until their confidence is at a level where they no longer require our services and can move onto building the rest of their required skills with a qualified driving instructor.
