Buddy Up’s objective is to pursue the following charitable purpose: To prevent PTSD in Australian service personnel by increasing their resilience through strengthening their network of support and community outside their services, and by providing education, psychological and social support. Buddy up delivers on its purpose by connecting current and ex-serving veterans and first responders through physical fitness, social events and purposeful volunteering. Buddy Up is 95% volunteer run with Chapter Leaders who oversee a group of Event Leaders to deliver a diverse portfolio of events. Volunteers are the backbone of Buddy Ups operations nationwide.
