As the largest global youth movement, reaching almost 65 million in 120 countries, the Y has a shared purpose of empowering young people. We believe in the power of inspired young people. The Y in Australia is made up of 14 Member Associations, each governed by a local voluntary Board of Directors elected by its members, to enable us to have local community relevance and impact.We are a united organisation dedicated to living our Belief in action. Y Australia is the national body representing all Y Associations in Australia. We operate nationally according to a shared framework and set of principles, while ensuring each Y Association has the greatest possible impact in their local communities. Y Australia is governed by a National Board.
