Cooks Hill Surf Lifesaving Club

Cooks Hills Surf Life Saving Club (CHSLSC) was founded in 1911. The Club is a leader in the development and training of volunteer surf lifesavers across the Hunter and the provision of community education and access programs aimed at disabled and marginalised communities. Current membership of over 1200 ranging in age from 5 to 87 years and covering 4 Local Government Areas of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Maitland, the Club provides meaningful experiences through sport, recreation, education, leadership and cultural programs in addition to providing critical emergency service operations .
