Sunshine Brass is a local, community based brass band that was established in 1906 and is the oldest volunteer organisation on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The band includes community members ranging in age from high school students to those who are retired. The band plays at local parades, fetes and other community events including musical programs either alone or in partnership with other musical groups. Sunshine Brass is the current State C Grade band champions and have held that title for 3 consecutive years. The band is a NFP and functions with a volunteer committee.
