South West Sydney Women’s Centre (SWSWC) opened its doors in 1984 (previously known as Liverpool Women’s Resource Centre) as a safe space for young women to learn new skills, develop self confidence and gain access to important information and support. Today, we support women of all ages and backgrounds to gain skills and strengthen their resilience to thrive through empowerment, connection, and support. We are a not-for-profit organisation, funded by the Department of Communities and Justice, corporate sponsorship and donations. The Centre operates from a house at 23 Sheriff St, Ashcroft NSW 2168. Our lovely house has a welcoming community feel and space for indoor and outdoor events.
