Women's accommodation house. We house women and children experiencing homelessness, until such time as they are able to find permanent housing, usually for some months to over a year. We are multicultural and non denominational. Our only requirement is that guests are not drug or alcohol dependent, or have untreated mental health issues. All our ladies are referred to us via agencies such as Salvation Army, Vincent care, MCM etc. Our guests have their own social, housing, legal and health workers to assist them with their needs. Our role is to supply a clean, safe, supportive home to stay in while their specific needs are being addressed. As all our staff, including the managers, work on a voluntary basis, we can operate the running and maintenance of the house at minimal cost to our guests.
