Housing Plus is a progressive social enterprise that re-invests ALL profits into improving social outcomes for individuals and communities in regional NSW. We are also unique within the NSW community housing sector in that, as a specialist homelessness and domestic and family violence service provider, we directly support individuals in regional areas into crisis, transitional and long-term stable housing, whether it be social, affordable, private rental or home ownership markets. Housing services: Our housing services provide affordable housing for individuals and families whose income is up to 120% of the relevant median NSW household income. Our housing is safe, appropriate for individual needs and affordable. Homelessness services: Our homelessness services assist people that are experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, to achieve sustainable housing. We take a client-centred, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to case management to empower individuals, and deliver support that effectively meets their needs. Domestic and family violence services: Our domestic and family violence services support women, men and children experiencing domestic and family violence to be safe in the community. We provide a comprehensive range of domestic and family violence support services at no charge including risk assessment, transport, safety planning, court support, information and referral, case management, community education and support to access victim’s compensation. Post-release service: Our post-release service provides up to 12 weeks’ support for offenders under the supervision of Community Corrections who are at medium-high risk of reoffending. Our service works with offenders to access support services, and engage in education, employment and prosocial activities in the community, to reduce reoffending.
