Mission to Seafarers (MtSV) provides a "home away from home" to all seafarers arriving in the port of Melbourne. On request, we provide transport by small bus between the docks and our building where we welcome them to Melbourne, provide money exchange and SIM cards and direct them to places of interest. We have activities such as pool and table tennis; also spaces for rest and relaxation. Mental health is a priority which is addressed by our chaplain and a team of trained "ship visitors". We are an Anglican organisation but we welcome seafarers of all faiths & nationalities.
